If you are new to buying Cryptocurrency or have only used major exchanges like Coinbase, eTorro, etc., below is a guided walkthrough to help you with buying BoonToken today!
To get started, you’ll need to download the Trust wallet application via the Google Playstore or App Store.
Once installed, select “Create a New Wallet”. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service then tick the box to confirm and press “Continue”.
You will be taken to a screen asking you to back up your wallet. Tick the box to confirm you understand that if you lose your recovery words, you won’t be able to access your wallet. Select “Continue”.
Write your 12-word recovery phrase down on a piece of paper and make sure you store it somewhere safe where you won’t lose it. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! Do not store this phrase on your phone or computer; write it down somewhere you can’t lose it.
Once you have your phrase written down, to confirm you have done so correctly, tap the words on the following screen to enter them in the correct order.
Now your wallet has been created you can view your wallet address by selecting the currency you are interested in.
Under the “Settings” menu, click “Preferences” and you can change your currency to USD. Then, we highly recommend you set a 6-digit passcode for the app or set up biometrics, which you will use to open the app in the future. To do so, click “Security” under the “Settings” menu.
If you have your trust wallet set-up, below are the instructions on how to add BoonToken to your trust wallet to be able to view your tokens.
To add custom tokens to your Trust wallet, click the menu option on the top right and select the tokens from the list displayed, or search a specific token using the search bar at the top.
At the bottom of this screen, you can also add custom tokens by filling out the required information. To add BoonToken to Trust Wallet so you can see your tokens grow, simply copy the smart contract address for BoonToken and paste it in the Contract Address and the rest will fill in automatically! Now that you have your Trust Wallet set up, click on Ethereum and in the upper right hand corner click “BUY”. From here, you can buy Ethereum to fund your wallet with a debit card or most Credit Cards. You can skip this step if you already had Ethereum or any ERC20 Token that you were transferring to your Wallet.
To swap any ERC20 token for Boon, simply click on the button to the right and it will take you to ShibaSwap and automatically load BoonToken for you.
Click “Connect Wallet” in the upper right hand corner and select “Wallet Connect”. It will open a QR code on your computer screen. Open up trust wallet on your phone and go to Settings -> Wallet Connect and use your phone to scan the QR code on your computer screen. It will prompt you in the app to allow ShibaSwap to connect to your Trust Wallet. Click Allow.
Once Boon is loaded on the bottom and you have your wallet connected, pick the currency you want to trade for boon on the top row and input the amount you want to trade.
Now Click on the gear icon in upper right hand corner and adjust the slippage to 4.2% and close out that screen. You are now ready to swap! Click the swap button and approve the transaction on your phone.
